Note:
1.
Earnest Money is to be deposited in the shape of N.S.C., Post office time
deposit/ D.D./Banker’s Cheque
duly pledged to University Engineer,
2.
Cost of B.O.Q.(Non refundable)
to be deposited through D.D. in favour of University Engineer,
University,
3.
Eligibility/Criteria of the Contractor participating in the
tender:
a.
Registered Contractor of Govt. of Bihar/C.P.W.D./M.E.S. of appropriate
category.
b.
For Electrical Work Registered Contractor of Govt. of Bihar Energy
Dept./C.P.W.D., M.E.S. of appropriate category.
4.
Any other information may be obtained from the office of the University
Engineer during working hours on any
working day.
5.
The estimated cost may increase or decrease but the Earnest Money will
remain the same.
6.
The work order will be issued subject to the availability of
fund.
7.
The undersigned reserves the right to reject any tenders or distribute
the work among the tenderers without
assigning any reason.
8.
Quoting lowest rates in tenders
will not be a claim of allotment for work.
9.
The
tender document may be downloaded from the website www.patnauniversity.ac.in during the above mentioned period and in
that case the cost of tender document should be attached with the tender
document in form of Demand Draft in favour of University Engineer, Patna
University, Patna. The tender document, downloaded from the website will be
submitted with cost of B.O.Q in the form of D.D. Tenders submitted without cost
of B.O.Q. in the form of demand draft will be summarily
rejected.
10.
The
Building Committee of Patna University has decided to impose the following
conditions on the working Contractors of Patna University to debar them from
participating in tenders of Patna University works.
(A)
In
case of:
(i)
Act
of indiscipline with any officer / work man of concerned department of Patna
University.
(ii)
Non
execution of work according to clauses of agreement and specification of work.
(iii)
Creating
Law and order problem during purchase of tender paper, submission of tender
papers or any other related work.
(iv)
Work
awarded by Contractor to some another Contractor (subletting) or any other
person without permission of the concerned Department.
(v)
Any
attack or pressurisation by contractor on concerned officer or workman.
(vi)
Submission
of wrong earnest money or security money deposit and wrong papers to acquire
tender.
(vii)
Failure
of execution of agreement in prescribed time period after work is awarded.
(viii)
Involved
in any criminal offence and has been punished.
(ix)
Knowingly
creating groups or curtails to participate in the tender or forcing among
members of the group to walkout from tender.
(x) In case of
any theft or sell of departmental materials like, cement, steel, Bricks etc by
Contractor.
(B)
Before
debarring any contractor under above clause a show cause notice may be issued to
the Contractor.
(C)
The
above conditions are valid from the date of publication of this notification.

& M.E.S., Govt. of Bihar Energy Dept., in the prescribed format for the
various types of Civil & Electrical works at Patna University, Patna. For
details of works along with terms & conditions, please visit Patna
University website www.patnauniversity.ac.in The tender
documents can be purchased from the office of the undersigned in office hour
from 10:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on or before 10/02/2010. The last date of receipt
of tenders is 11/02/2010 upto 3:00 P.M. and the tender will be opened on the
same date (i.e. 11/02/2010) at 3:30 P.M. The tender document may be downloaded
from the website will be submitted with cost of
B.O.Q in the form of D.D. Tenders submitted without cost of B.O.Q. in the form
