ORDINANACE FOR ADMISION OF STUDENTS IN MASTER OF EDUCATION
(M.Ed.) COURSE OF (Approved vide
Governor’s Secretariat,
(a)
This ordinance shall be called ordinance governing Master
of Education (M.Ed) course of (b)
This Ordinance shall come in to force from the Academic
Session 2006-07.
(a)
Bachelor of Education Degree holder of (b)
The Selection of candidate for admission to M.Ed course shall be made on the basis of entrance test
conducted every year in the month of April-May by the (c)
The admission shall be made strictly in order of merit
i.e. percentage of marks secured by the candidate at the entrance test hold
for the purpose. (d)
To qualify for admission to M.Ed. course a candidate
must obtain minimum of 45% marks to the entrance test hold for the purpose
provided that said minimum marks may suitably be lowered by the
Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of
Education, if all the seats are not filled up in accordance with the criteria
mentioned above.
(a)
The total no. of students admitted to the M.Ed Course shall be as fixed by the (b)
80% of the seats will be reserved for B.Ed. Degree holders of

As per Government of Bihar Rules declared time to time
and adopted by the (b)
Reservation of seats will be applicable only when the
candidate fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria as provided under clause
2(d) of the Ordinance. (c)
Seats left unfilled in any of the reserved categories
mentioned above by reason of the fact that no eligible candidate available in
the respective categories shall be filled up by admitting applicants from
candidates available from other reserved categories. 5. FEES : The
fee for appearing at the entrance test shall be Rs.
300/- and Rs. 200/- for S.C./S.T.
candidate.
a)
No candidate shall be permitted to be registered as a
student in any other course leading to diploma or Degree during the Academic
Year of his/her study for the M.Ed Course. b)
No student shall be admitted who in the opinion of the
Vice-Chancellor should not be admitted in the best interest of the University. c)
No applicant shall be admitted who not get himself has
enrolled within the specified time, except when the delay is condoned by the
vice-Chancellor. d)
If any time found that the candidate has furnished any
false information his/her candidature shall be cancelled immediately. |
